New Exhibition for 2017
‘Fleetwood’s Early Years’ celebrates various contemporary artworks depicting the development of a seaside resort and a port at Sir Peter Hesketh Fleetwood’s new town-FLEETWOOD-on-WYRE.
Some of the paintings on display are by well known artists, such as G.W. Herdman, Sir George Hayter and Frances English. The exhibition also includes many contemporary photographs (copy prints for sale), memories and other literature – an exciting glimpse of life in Fleetwood’s early years. Open July 22nd 2017.
